Through donations to the Deer Valley Environmental Education Fund, the camp provides enriching, hands-on environmental education to Somerset County elementary and middle school students at no cost to their family or their school. With outstanding educational modules which meet Pennsylvania’s state educational standards, special topic outdoor mini-classrooms (PODS) around camp, and a state-of-the-art Environmental Education Center, this program supports and expands the school curriculum, allowing students to directly explore the natural world. Deer Valley seeks to expand this Fund to allow other students to participate in the program. Please consider donating to make this expansion possible.
