As the YMCA struggles to trudge along by forgiving these men their rent for the duration, a few angels have taken wing to help them, including the YMCA’s regular donors.
“It’s amazing to me that every day I get at least one check, and some of these are for more than they had given in the past,” said Bill Pricener, director of the YMCA’s Allegheny branch. “It gives me so much hope that we are going to come out of this a stronger society.”
