Fall Programs Are Here at the Homewood-Brushton YMCA!
This fall, invest in your health, build confidence, and strengthen your community at the Homewood-Brushton YMCA! Whether your child is stepping onto the basketball court, you're looking to achieve your fitness goals with personal training, joining a supportive small group, or participating in a life-changing wellness program, there's something for everyone this season.
At the Homewood-Brushton YMCA, we're committed to helping individuals and families thrive through programs that inspire healthy living, build confidence, and strengthen our community.

Youth Basketball Clinic
Basketball Clinic
Ages 6–12
Help your young athlete develop basketball fundamentals in a fun, encouraging environment. Participants will learn dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, teamwork, and sportsmanship while building confidence both on and off the court.

Personal Training
No matter where you are on your wellness journey, our certified personal trainers are here to help you succeed.

Women on Weights
Looking to feel stronger and more confident in the weight room?
Women on Weights is a supportive small-group training program designed specifically for women who want to learn proper lifting techniques, improve strength, and build confidence while working alongside others with similar goals.
Whether you're new to strength training or looking to improve your routine, this program provides expert coaching in a welcoming environment.

LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA
The LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA program is a free, 12-week wellness program created specifically for adult cancer survivors. Participants work with specially trained YMCA staff to safely rebuild strength, endurance, flexibility, and confidence after cancer treatment.
Beyond physical activity, participants find encouragement, connection, and support from others on a similar journey.

Group Exercise Classes

YOUTH PROGRAMMING
Summer Day Camp
Summer Day Camp will offer kids a fun, active, and enriching summer experience right in the heart of the North Side. Campers will enjoy a mix of games, swimming, creative activities, and outdoor play—all designed to help them build confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories in a safe and supportive environment led by trained YMCA staff.
Before & After School Care
Our Before & After School Care program will support working families by providing a safe, structured, and engaging place for children outside of school hours. With time for homework help, physical activity, and hands-on enrichment, this program helps kids start and end their school day feeling supported, connected, and ready to learn.

MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL - FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Everyone is welcome at the Y. We provide membership and program services to everyone desiring to participate regardless of race, religion, gender, marital status, national origin, disability or income. The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh provides financial assistance for children, teens, adults and families who cannot afford the full cost of a Y membership.
We use a sliding fee scale based on total household income, which requires supporting documentation to verify. Recipients are expected to be responsible for a percentage of the membership cost. Qualification for YMCA financial assistance for membership is reviewed every year.
If you need financial assistance, please bring proof of income to your local branch.
